A Trenchless Sewer Pipe Installation Does Little To No Damage To Landscape
Fallbrook trenchless sewer pipe repair from Big B's Plumbing. Are you living in an old house? Is your sewer pipe showing signs that it needs replacing? Do you need to frequently call your plumbing company to clear the main sewer pipe? Are your toilets, faucets, or shower slow to drain? If you answer, “Yes” to any of the above questions, then you'll need a video pipe inspection to determine if your sewer pipe needs replacing. Unfortunately, our pipes don't last forever, and they will all eventually wear out, some sooner than others.
Trenchless Sewer Pipe Will Cost You, Less
Years ago the only option for replacing our sewer pipe was to dig up the yard, and that meant taking your landscape with it. Not so any longer, while trenchless sewer pipe technology has been around since the early 1990s, they've taken on some real traction over the last 20 years. For Big B's Plumbing, it has become our first option for replacing a sewer line. A trenchless sewer pipe installation requires less time with little to no collateral damage to landscaping. Many homes and businesses have well-groomed landscaping right above their sewer line. In most cases, with a trenchless sewer pipe installation, you'll only need two holes dug, one at the entrance and one at the exit.
Trenchless Sewer Pipe Installation Can Last 50 Years Our Longer
While some might think that a trenchless sewer pipe is a temporary fix, think again. Trenchless sewer pipe technology is also known as cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) and will last 50 years or more. Some projections, even say a CIPP, will last up to 100 years. The method involves a coated resin pipe liner and is inserted into the existing broken sewer pipe then pulled into place. Once the liner is in place, air pressure is applied to the liner forcing the resin pipe liner outward, This creates a pipe within a pipe. Trenchless rehabilitation has no joints, is more cost effective, puts very little strain on landscaping, and lasts 50 to 100 years. It's a no brainer. Trenchless sewer pipe installation should be a homeowner's first choice if their sewer pipe qualifies.
